We design and develop our unique low-cost smart device which is integrated with  LAI-based fall detection and prediction, and positioning algorithms to answer the fundamental question “where does the fall happen”. Our IoT device is the first such system that has its firmware and embedded LAI being able to perform similar fall detection and positioning functions in an iOS or Android system, but with a much lower cost in the world.

 

Our core indoor positioning algorithms rely on the Wi-Fi signal and the radio frequency survey map obtained from the pre-existing router network together with the indoor digital maps.

The core value of the LAI and IoT systems are that they enable the seamless detection of fall indoors and outdoors with an affordable wearable smart device without extra infrastructure set up at the sites but it can have a nominal accuracy of 3-5 meters in positioning. Fall is one of the most frequent industrial accidents. The smart device is equipped with motion sensors, edge computation modulus (MCU), seamless positioning modulus (GPS and Wi-Fi sensor fusion algorithms) and 4G/5G communication modulus.
